490 people have died in China from Corona and there are 24,000 confirmed cases

Beijing, Feb 05 (HS): So far 490 people have died in China from Corona, while more than 24,000 confirmed cases have been reported. 65 people died there only on Tuesday. 

All these deaths occurred in Wuhan, Hubei province. The World Health Organization (WHO) has already announced the International Health Emergency in view of the worldwide spreading of the corona virus. Many countries have cancelled flights to China.

The number of deaths due to the coronavirus in China is increasing continuously. Chinese health officials said that 490 people have died there so far and the number of confirmed cases has reached 24324. Of these, 3,887 confirmed cases have come up on Tuesday. Hubei province of China remains the center of Corona. On Tuesday, all 65 deaths occurred in Wuhan, Hubei. On Tuesday, the condition of 431 people was stated to be critical and 262 people have been discharged from the hospital. A medical examination of 1.85 lakh people is going on.

The death toll from Corona in China has exceeded the number of SARS virus deaths in Beijing in 2003–2004. According to the World Health Organization, Corona has spread in more than 20 countries of the world. While many countries have started evacuating their people by airlifting.

Meanwhile, China has prepared a 1000-bed hospital within 10 days to combat the coronavirus. While the second hospital with 1300 beds will be ready on Wednesday. There is a shortage of medical equipment to fight corona in China, with a population of 1.4 billion. China’s Foreign Ministry spokesman Hua Chunying said, “There is a shortage of medical equipment in China. China needs medical masks, medical gowns and security goggles with immediate effect.

According to the Ministry of Industry there, 20 million masks were produced daily in China under normal conditions, but due to the havoc of Corona, factories are able to produce only 60 to 70 percent. However, South Korea, Japan, the U.K., France, Turkey, Pakistan, Kazakhstan, Hungary, Iran, Belarus and Indonesia have sent masks to China.
