Aarogya Setu Application(App)

The Indian government has boosted its effort to fight against the Coronavirus pandemic. Following the path of South Korea and China, the Indian government has launched an application that can be an asset to fight against the Coronavirus pandemic.

How does it work: This application is an example of our New India. It asks some specific questions to know the details of your health and on the basis of this, it gives the correct result of your health condition. It also asks some other detail like your travel history, your contacted person list which will help the government in finding out the suspect to quarantine. This application works on the GPS and Bluetooth facility and warns from corona suspected around you if the same application is active in other’s phone. This application works on 11 different languages and applicable to ios and android mobile both. Aarogya Setu is a refined version of the Corona Kavach application, earlier launched by the government. This application is completely based on artificial intelligence and also provides information related to corona directly from the Health Ministry and the latest tweet related to the corona pandemic. The toll-free number issued by the different states are also provided on this application.

How applications helped other countries: Countries like China, South Korea, and Israel have become successful in controlling the pandemic. The application gives data of persons whom they have contacted by GPS and BlueTooth facility. It also helped to keep an eye on a person who is in quarantine. China and South Korea have controlled pandemic and by this application, they track down the contacted list of newly infected persons. Israel is still suffering but it is seeming that they will also be able to control it.

Things to remember: Even after controlling the pandemic four things will need to be followed –Washing hands with soap or sanitizing hand at regular intervals. Maintaining social distance at all the time in public, putting on a certified mask and not touching the face frequently.
China and South Korea have set an example and they are still following the above steps strictly. With proper public awareness with the help of the Aarogya Setu Application India will stay away ahead of and will also be able to eradicate the pandemic from its soil.
