Annual function and Christmas program organized at Christy Memorial School

Prayagraj: Christy Memorial School & College, Hathigan Karma, Ghurpur organized annual function and Christmas programme. The chief guest on the occasion was former UP minister and senior leader of Samajwadi Party Mr. Shivpal Singh Yadav who inaugurated the program by lighting the lamp. MLA Eng. Harsh Vardhan Bajpai, former MLA Mr. Rajbali Jaisal were guest of honour on this occasion.

Mr. Shivpal Singh Yadav congratulated all the students on Christmas. Giving congratulations to Mr. Vinod B. Lal for establishing a great English medium school like Christy Memorial School in rural area which has done the work of beautifying the future of children by providing quality education. He said that the evils of the society can be eradicated only through education. Mr. Yadav said that one should not be distracted by failure, but should learn from it, after which success is sure. He wished for a bright future for the children and advised them to take education wholeheartedly to bring laurels to the country and the state.

SHUATS Vice Chancellor Most Rev. Prof. Rajendra B. Lal also extended Christmas greetings to all the teachers, children and their parents. He shared the words of Bible and talked about keeping harmony with each other, walking on the path of truth and staying away from evil.

Chairman Mr. Vinod B. Lal appreciated the organisers. He said that all round development of children is possible only when teachers and parents work together to educate the child. Principal Mrs. Neha Pitambar said that the development of a school depends on the qualitative faculties and the education provided by the school.

In colourful programmes, the welcome song was presented by the School Choir. Students staged a skit on Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao. The martyrdom of the Indian Army was displayed through choreography. Dance performance on save water, save nature was also presented. The children presented mesmerizing performances on the themes of acting superstar, blooming flowers, united titans, fusion mixtures, shining star etc. Father Christmas entertained the children at the event. The program ended with the national anthem.

A large number of students, parents and local people including former state minister Mr. Lallan Rai, SP leader Mr. Dinanath Yadav, Mr. Yogendra Yadav, Mr. Dinesh Yadav, Mr. Ajit Yadav, Village Pradhan Mr. Ram Bhushan Mishra, former Pradhan Mr. Shakeel, Mr. Deepak Dubey along with Block Pramukh of Jasra, School Coordinator Mr. Vishal Charles etc were present on the occasion.
