Mathura: Another heartbreaking example of a suspected hit and drag case occurred on Tuesday when the corpse of a man was found trapped at the opposite end of a car travelling towards Noida in Uttar Pradesh on the Yamuna Expressway, according to Uttar Pradesh police.According to the report, the car was travelling from Agra to Noida when a stranded corpse got the attention of security authorities at a toll booth in Mathura’s Mant. The car was driven by Virendra Singh, a Delhi resident who is presently being questioned by authorities.”There was dense fog on the Expressway last night, so visibility was low, and the individual who had an accident was stranded with his car,” Superintendent of Police (SP Dehat) Trigun Bisen said, quoting suspected culprit Virendra Singh. Virendra is being questioned, and the cameras are being examined.

People in neighbouring villages have been tipped off about the occurrence in search of his identify.
Similar events have been making news since January 1, when a 20-year-old Anjali Singh, who was riding a scooter, was found dead on the street after being reportedly struck and dragged for many kilometres by a car driven by five youngsters in Outer Delhi’s Kanjhawala neighbourhood. The woman was found dead in the middle of the street, her garments ripped and damaged from the suspected dragging. In the aftermath of the event, seven people were detained, including the five occupants of the car.
