Bollywood unites against news channels giving defamatory words

Mumbai: The likes of Aamir Khan, Salman Khan, Ajay Devgn, Anil Kapoor, Farhan Akhtar, Kabir Khan and many more from the Bollywood film industry have come togather against two news channels. Four anchors from these news channels, have been spreading defamatory words about the bollywood industry.
Words like, ‘filth’, ‘dirt’, ‘druggies’, ‘scum’, has been used against the bollywood film industry in the form of media trials of Bollywood personalities during reporting on Sushant Singh Rajput death case. Phrase like ” all the perfumes of Arabia cannot take away the stench and the stink of this filth and scum of the underbelly of Bollywood” have been directed by the anchors of news Channels.




The news anchors are Arnab Goswami, Navika Kumar, Rahul Shivshankar and Pradeep Bhandari and their news Channels Republic TV and Times Netrork who have been charged.
The Plantiff who have filed a suit against the two news channels in the Delhi high court are Film &Television Producers Guild of India (PGI), Cine & TV Artiste Association (CINTAA) , Indian Film and TV Producers Council (IFTPC) , Screenwriters Association (SWA), Aamir Khan Productions, Ad-Labs Films, Ajay Devgn Flims, Andolan Films, Anil Kapoor Film and Communication Network, Arbaaz Khan Productions, Ashutosh Gowariker Productions, BSK Network and Entertainment, Cape of Good Films, Clean Slate Filmz, Dharma Productions, Emmay Entertainment & Motion Pictures, Excel Entertainment, Filmkraft Productions, Hope Production, Kabir Khan Films, Luv Films, MacGuffin Pictures, Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment, One India Stories, R.S. Entertainment (Ramesh Sippy Entertainment), Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra Pictures, Red Chillies Entertainment, Reel Life Productions, Reliance Big Entertainment, Rohit Shetty Picturez, Roy Kapur Films, Salman Khan Films, Sikhya Entertainment, Sohail Khan Productions, Tiger Baby Digital, Vinod Chopra Films, Vishal Bhardwaj Pictures, Yashraj Films.
