Commendable measures taken by the Yogi Government to stop the spread of Coronavirus
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath takes major decisions to stop the spread of Corona Virus*
• All educational institutions closed till 2 April 2020
• Free treatment to all Corona patients
• Yogi government will take care of daily labourers; through RTGS, the government will send a fixed amount to their account
• All tourist destinations to be closed Lucknow, 17 March. In a cabinet meeting held on Tuesday under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, the government has taken major decisions to prevent the spread of Corona virus. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has appealed to the people of the state to avoid going to crowded places. Making a major announcement for the daily wage labourers, the government said that a fixed amount of money will be provided to them for their sustenance. The Yogi government also ordered postponement of all types of examinations, including competitive examinations, till April 2, while ordering all educational institutions to be closed till April 2. The Chief Minister said that patients suffering from Corona Virus in the state will be screened and treated free of cost, and the state government will bear whatever expenditure is incurred. Also, there will be no deduction in salary during their leave. He has directed to follow 100 percent Central government advisory on Corona Virus. The government has ordered the closure of all tourist places and museums till March 31. During this time cleanliness will be maintained there, but the entry of tourists will be prohibited. All theaters, multiplexes have also been closed. Tehsil Day, Samadhan Divas and Janta Darshan will not be held till April 2. The CM has said that the committee constituted under the chairmanship of the Finance Minister will submit its report in 3 days so that people working as daily wage labourers could be provided financial assistance. The committee includes Agriculture Minister and Labour Minister. The government will send a fixed amount of daily wages to their account through RTGS so that the workers’ families could sustain themselves. The Chief Minister ordered all the district officials of the state to establish communication with the managers and religious leaders of the religious places located in their district, so that there is no large gathering at one place. The Chief Minister also directed district officials to carry out awareness drive on the Corona Virus. The district administration should ensure that the people coming to the fair etc. are made aware on the disease. Gram Panchayats and city development officials have also been ordered to ensure cleanliness. The Chief Minister ordered that the government will get the Corona virus victim tested and treated free of cost. Private and government employees in the state are exempted from biometric attendance. Also, as much as possible the employees would work from home and during this time their salary will be paid.
