Coronavirus threat: SHUATS organizes awareness camp
Naini: A joint awareness camp regarding dangerous corona virus was organized at Naini area by the Hayes Memorial Mission Hospital and National Service Scheme (NSS) of SHUATS. Pro Vice Chancellor (Administration) Prof. (Dr.) S.B. Lal inaugurated the camp.
Prof. Dr. S.B. Lal said that by adopting preventive measures and awareness about the safety we can stop to spread this virus. If we take precautions, this can be avoided so that all of us should effectively adopt the guidelines issued by the Government of India. On such a disaster, we should carry out the duty of a responsible citizen and check up the doctor immediately if we or our relatives have common human coronavirus symptoms such as cough, cold, fever etc.
Prof. S.B. Lal distributed free masks, gloves and sanitizers to the people arrived at awareness camp. He appealed all the people to aware their family members including office workers etc about this dangers disease so that our society can be saved from this virus.
The Chief Health Superintendent Dr. Shekhar, Dr. Deshmukh, etc., suggested to avoid crowded places and contact with farm and wild animals, to take vitamin C supplements and vitamin C rich fruits, do cover mouth and nose when coughing or sneezing, immediately see a doctor if symptoms of cough and cold persist etc.
NSS Coordinator Dr. Rohit Lal shared the Guidelines issued by the Government of India and the Government of Uttar Pradesh and appealed to adopt them.
