Dr. Shoolpani Singh became Delhi State President of FASII

New Delhi: Federation of Association of Small Industries of India (FASII) on Saturday appointed Dr. Shoolpani Singh as the President of Delhi Pradesh. After this important decision in FASII, a delegation paid a courtesy call on Union Law Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal and handed over a memorandum to him. During the meeting, the members of the delegation along with the minister discussed about the changes in metrology law.

The delegates included organization president Udayachandra Suvarna, immediate past president KV Shekhar Raju, national vice president Saileshwar Panda, NEC member Ghosh, Delhi president Dr Shoolpani Singh.
Explain that the Federation of Associations of Small Industries of India FASII was established in 1959 under the sponsorship of the Government of India. Earlier in 1955, Ford Foundation team from USA visited India at the invitation of the then Prime Minister Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru. Thereafter this organization was established in 1959 as an apex body for micro, small, village and cottage enterprises. The head office building of FSSAI was inaugurated by the then President of India, Dr. S. Radhakrishnan did in 1963. This organization is given representation in all committees related to micro and small enterprises. Employees State Insurance Corporation, National Productivity Council, Central Board of Workers Education are some of the major committees where FCI has representation.
