Drug trafficker arrested with over 35 kg cannabis in UP had a counterfeit number plate in car

Noida: According to authorities, the Noida Police detained a suspected narcotics trafficker and recovered over 35 kg of cannabis from his car on Wednesday. According to a police spokesperson, the suspect’s car was stopped at the Chipiyana underpass by Bisrakh police station cops. “The automobile had a counterfeit number plate, and 37.470 kg of cannabis worth Rs 2.5 lakh was recovered from it,” the source added. Munna Jha, 35, a native of Samastipur in Bihar but presently staying in Old Haibatpur Tigdi here, was detained, according to police. According to the spokesperson, a FIR has been filed at the Bisrakh police station in accordance with the provisions of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act and Indian Penal Code section 482 (using false property mark).
