Graduation ceremony held at Nazareth Hospital School of Nursing
Today the Graduation Ceremony of the 29th GNM Final Year Nursing Batch and the Lamp Lighting of the 33rd GNM Nursing Batch of First Year Nursing Students of Nazareth Hospital School of Nursing was held in the campus of the Nazareth Hospital School of Nursing.

This Ceremony was graced and blessed with the presence of the Chief Guest, Hon’ble Mr. Justice Vivek Varma, of Allahabad High Court and the Guest of Honorfor this function was Hon’ble Dr. Mrs. Ruchika Varma, Asst. Professor, Department of Psychology, CMP Degree College.

The function was presided over by Rev. Fr. Louis Mascarenhas the Administrator of Catholic Diocese of Allahabadand also the present Director of Nazareth Group of Institution.

The program started as scheduled at 10:30 amafter formal welcome of the Hon’ble Chief Guestand Guest of Honor with aPrayer dance by students of Nazareth Hospital School of Nursing, this was followed by the formal Lamp Lighting Ceremony by the distinguished dignitaries including the Chief Guest&Guest of Honour. Rev. Fr. Louis Mascarenhas, Rev. Fr. Vipin D’Souza (Administrator),Rev. Sr. Elweena, Principal of Nazareth Hospital School of Nursing, Dr. Ashok Agarwal MS (Medical Superintendent) &Rev. Sr. Moncy (Matron).

The Caps were blessed by Rev. Fr. Louis Mascarenhas and was followed by distribution of the Caps to the 32ndfresher nursing students by the Chief Guest. The Lamp Lighting Ceremonyfor the fresher Batch of Nursing Students was conducted by the Guest of Honour, thereafter,a Divine and ProfessionalPledge was taken by the Nursing Students.

The Hon’bleGuest of Honor distributed the GNM nursing course passing out Certificates to the nursing student of the 29th Batch. The 3rd year students presented a delightful Group dance. Sr. Elweena, Principal,Nazareth School of Nursing in her words of acknowledgement appreciatedthe efforts of the teachers and the hard work done by the nursing students. The Chief Guest distributed the Excellence award to the student.A Folk dance along with Dance -Drama items which were presented by ANM Staff were widely appreciated by the audience.
The Chief Guest in his words of Wisdom, Advice and Guidance to the Students, spoke on the Noble, Human, Divine & Holistic Nature and Care of the Nursing Profession and Services given to patients. He emphasized that in Nursing Care Profession Sincerity, Dedication and Compassion. Affection and Professional commitment are the most important aspects of patients care.

The Hon’ble Chief guest also gave the Meritorious Student Awards. A group dance by the Interns of the Nursing school, which was very much appreciated by the distinguished audience.

A Vote of Thanks was delivered by Miss. Shabana and was followed by theCake cutting Ceremony by the passing out Graduate students. The program concluded with the rendition of the National Anthem by all present.
