Jalaun: According to authorities, an illegal arms manufacturing unit was found and two people were detained in a village in Uttar Pradesh. According to Superintendent of Police Iraj Raja, police apprehended two people who were involved in the manufacture of illicit guns and firearms after receiving a tip. Based on their intelligence, an illicit gun manufacturing operating in the Bohad Pura forest was discovered. From the scene, cops seized seven 315-bore handguns, one double barrel gun, one 12-bore pistol, and five semi-finished 315-bore pistols and one 12-bore pistol.
The materials needed to make illegal weapons, as well as two live cartridges, were also confiscated, according to the SP, who added that the detained individuals stated that they used to sell the illicit guns for Rs 5,000 to Rs 7,000. He stated that investigations are underway to determine who purchased the guns from the two accused.
