For innovation, research is necessary.

Meerut, 4 May (HS): A research workshop on the topic of Research Ethics and Plagiarism was organized by Nice School of Business Studies and Research Club of Shobhit University, Meerut on Saturday. Dr. Navneesh Tyagi said that it is very important to have ethics in research. The objective of this workshop was to provide important information about research to UG and PG students. Dr. Abhishek Dabas, while giving a brief introduction of the program and welcoming the guests, said that if the country has to progress, then innovation will have to be done and for innovation, research is necessary. Keynote speaker Dr. Navneesh Tyagi discussed the important points of research and gave detailed information about research to the students. He told that if students want to write research papers, books and articles, then from where can they get their data. He told that in today’s time, if we have to do research in a sentence, then there is a need to do plagiarism free research for it. Most of the people collect data from the internet and use secondary data due to which quality research is not able to come out. Therefore, we need to do research keeping in mind the ethics and plagiarism in our research. He said that with the advent of technology, research has become much easier. Now obtaining data is not as difficult as it used to be. He shared various tools with the students through which they can conduct their research. Many important researches related information was shared with the students by University Vice Chancellor and Dean Research Prof. Dr. Jayanand. He said that if you want to do something new then it is very important to do research for it. The students were also addressed by Dr. Rajul Dutt, Director, Department of Nice School of Business Studies, Dr. Divya Prakash, Dean Student Affairs. On this occasion, Dr. Gargi Choudhary, Dr. Neha Chaturvedi, Dr. Anshu Choudhary, Dr. Preeti Garg , Dr. Neha Tyagi, Dr. Deepshikha Tonk etc. were present.
