Kohli is a great class player: Miandad

Lahore, March 21 (HS):  Former Pakistan captain and batsman Javed Miandad has praised the captain of the Indian cricket team Virat Kohli. Miandad said that Kohli is a great class batsman and hence he is Miandad’s favorite cricketer. 
According to Miandad, Kohli has done well all over the world and his figures are a witness to this fact. Miandad said on his YouTube channel, “I was asked who is my favorite cricketer in the Indian team, so I have chosen Virat Kohli. I don’t need to say too much because his performance says a lot about it. People have to agree, their figures can all be seen.”
He said, “Virat had done well in South Africa. He scored a century even on uneven pitches. You cannot say that he is afraid of fast bowlers or that he does not play well on bouncy pitches or spinners.” The former captain said, “He is a clean hitter. Look at his shots. It’s good to see him batting. He has class.”
Kohli, however, was not in good form on the tour of New Zealand. He had scored a total of 218 runs in 11 innings of all three formats.
