life saving work done by RPF Staff of Puri

On 12.10.2021 at about-12.40 hrs, while train No.08417 [Gunpur-Puri] Express approaching Malatipatta Pur Railway Station, one lady aged about-40 Yrs, who was trying to cross the Railway track suddenly slipped on the Railway track just in front of the train and her right leg badly injured. On seeing this on duty RPF Staff of Puri [HC-Rabi Narayan Prusty & CT-Nilamani Mallick], who were escorting that train from Puri, immediately shifted the injured lady to Dist.Hospital Puri by hired auto rickshaw to save her life. Now the health condition of the injured lady is stabled.

On initial enquiry it could be noticed that the injured lady [Geetanjali Behera, At-Sootan, Ramchandi, Dist- Puri] came from her home for some work in Puri town area and after completion of work, while he was going to her home via short cut way by crossing Railway track slipped and got injuries. The quick humanitarian work of on duty RPF Staff was really appreciable.
