Ballia, 1 May (HS): According to authorities, a young woman, age 23, committed suicide by hanging herself at her home on Wednesday. According to Deputy Superintendent of Police Mohammad Fahim Qureshi, the terrible occurrence occurred on Tuesday night in Ibrahimpatti town, which falls under the jurisdiction of Bhimpura police station.

When the police were informed about the victim, they responded quickly and secured her corpse, according to the DSP. Local people told the police that the woman was supposedly in a love connection with a boy. According to the authorities, she grew disturbed as a result of their split and took dramatic measures. The corpse has been submitted for autopsy, and the investigation is still underway, according to the DSP.
