Man booked after death in UP

Two corpses have been autopsied.

Pilibhit, June 22: A man in UP’s Pilibhit district has been charged with murder, who had committed suicide after murdering an 18-year-old girl who refused his dating proposal. Madan Mohan Chaturvedi, Station House Officer of Ghungchai Police Station, stated, “Youth has been booked after his death under IPC section 302 (murder) and section 25 of Arms Act following written complaint filed by victim’s brother Anil Verma.” Two corpses have been autopsied.

Manjeet Yadav, a 20-year-old youngster, confronted Archana Varma, who was accompanied by a companion, according to sources. He shot her in the chest from point-blank range, killing her on the spot. He then shot himself in the head and died instantly. Sunil Dutt, Puranpur Circle Circle Officer, acknowledged the occurrence and stated that more investigations were underway.
