Man electrocuted to death while drinking water from a dispenser in UP

Mathura, July 3: According to authorities, a devotee from Delhi was killed after receiving an electric shock while sipping water from a dispenser here on Monday. They claimed the incident happened on Sunday night while one Ravi (35) was performing a ‘parikrama’ of the ‘Giriraj Parvat’ during the current Mudia Purnima festival. On the parikrama journey, he paused to take water from a water cooler and was electrocuted. He was transferred to a hospital, where physicians confirmed him dead, according to reports. According to Chief Medical Officer V S Sisodia, the victim’s body was handed over to family members.
