Man forgets water purifier inside train is helped by RPF staff to recover the lost item

[Handed over of recovered new “Kent RO”, valued Rs-18000/- by RPF Staff of Puri on 17.08.2021]
Puri .On 14.08.2021 at about-02.30 hrs, while on duty RPF Officer SI Mohan was engaged for checking of train No.02038 [Ajmer-Puri] Express, which was arrived Platform No.05, noticed new “Kent RO” was kept in Seat No.59 [Upper Seat] of Coach No.B-2 in sealed & unclaimed condition.

After adopting security formalities, the above named RPF opened the sealed packing and found the to verify the items & when he confirmed that the recovered item is “Kent RO”, he informed the matter to IIC RPF Puri & brought the same to RPF Post Puri for further hand over to the concern Passenger. Within few times one online complaint received through 139 [Rail madad] regarding left behind of above above items of one Bonafide passenger namely Sanjay Ku. Mohanty [7986046488] At-Benipalli, Ganjam [Odisha], who was traveling from Bhusawal- Bhubaneswar vide PNR No.242-2981080. Accordingly RPF Staff made contact with the concern Passenger through the given mobile number and the concern Passenger informed that, he is working in Indian Army as a Subedar Major at Bhusawal. Further he also informed that he was coming from at his home along with his family and when the above train arrived at Bhubaneswar Railway Station and they got down along with their other many luggages. He also requested to keep the recovered items at RPF Post Puri till his reaching as he was on the way to Ganjam from Bhubaneswar along with his family members. On 17.08.2021 about-10.00 hrs the above named Passenger attended RPF Post Puri and after completion of official formalities the recovered item handed over to him.
