Meerut : UP police sub-inspector kills self At his Police Lines residence

Meerut: According to police, a sub-inspector of the Uttar Pradesh Police shot himself himself at his Police Lines apartment on Thursday.According to witnesses, Indrajit Singh shot himself with his licenced firearm late Wednesday night while his wife and children were in another room.Singh was assigned to Saharanpur and had returned home for a two-day vacation.According to authorities, no suicide note was recovered, and the cause for the suicide was not immediately revealed.The body has been taken for a post-mortem examination by police. Singh’s weapon was also taken.The situation is being looked at. Circle Officer Arvind Chaurasia stated that the motive for the suicide has not yet been determined.According to Singh’s family members, he returned home two days ago to attend a relative’s wedding.
