Nazareth Hospital Society celebrates the 47th Hospital Day

Under the aegis of Nazareth Hospital Society the 47th Hospital Day Celebrations function of Nazareth Hospital was held on 11th of December 2022, from 5:00 p.m. onwards.
The Chief Guest of this function was the Hon’ble Justice Siddhartha Varma and the Guest of Honor was Rev. Sr. Shweta CJ, Provincial Superior Congregation of Jesus.
This function was presided by Rev. Fr. Louis Mascarenhas, Administrator, Roman Catholic Diocese of Allahabad & Chairman of Nazareth Hospital Society and also the present Director of Nazareth Hospital.
The function started with a Prayer dance. This was followed by the lamp lightning ceremony by the Chief Guest, Guest of Honor, Director Nazareth Hospital and other special invitees.
The welcome address for the Chief Guest and other Invitees was delivered by Rev. Fr. Louis Mascarenhas, Director, Nazareth Hospital. He also highlighted the growth and achievements of Nazareth Hospital.
The staff along with nursing interns and students of Nazareth School of Nursing presented several Dance items and also performed drama skits which were based on Nazareth Hospital working theme for 2022- “Touching Lives with Caring Hands”. A dance drama on education was followed by presentation of a Qawali, a drama skit on Social Media along with a fusion dance was followed by Dance Drama – The first Indian Doctor. Other cultural items presented included a Rajasthani Folk Dance and a Patriotic Dance was followed by a Dance Skit – Tribute to the Health Workers.
The Nightingale Award for outstanding Nursing Care services were jointly presented to Ms. Babita GNM and Ms. Basila ANM by the Hon’ble Chief Guest.
The Chief Guest in his address to the present distinguished gathering exhorted the members of the Nazareth Family to achieve greater levels of Excellence in providing dedicated committed and Compassionate Health Services to the sick and hospitalized patients. He acknowledged that Nazareth Hospital is widely known for its working ethos, charitable nature and providing Selfless and Holistic Health Services to the needy people and has earned the faith of people of Allahabad and its neighboring districts. He has a special word of acknowledgement and praise for the Nursing Services provided in Nazareth Hospital.
The programme concluded with a Vote of Thanks by Dr. Gaurav Dubey to the Chief Guest and the distinguished gathering present. And the annual celebrations of Hospital Day function concluded with the rendition of our National Anthem.
Special request was made to the all present to partake & enjoy the sumptuous Dinner laid out for them.
