New Year celebrated at Yeshu Darbar Church of SUATS

Bishop Rajendra B. Lal prayed for the development of country and state

Prayagraj: In the celebration of the New Year 2022, a Mahasabha was held in the Yeshu Darbar Church premises of SHUATS, in which prayers, devotional bhajan etc. were presented. SHUATS Vice Chancellor and Bishop Most Rev. Prof. Rajendra B. Lal prayed on the New Year for the development of the country and the state and relief from the Covid-19 epidemic. Vice President of Yeshu Darbar Church Dr. Sudha Lal, wished everyone a Happy New Year. In view of the Covid-19 guideline, the program was organized through YouTube in which students, employees etc took part.

Bishop Most Rev. Prof. Rajendra B. Lal shared the Bible verse and said that the human body is the temple of the Holy Spirit. He said that setting mind on the soul is the peace of life. He added that the fruit of the Spirit of Christ is love, joy, goodness, gentleness, peace, faith, patience, kindness, self-control. The Spirit of Christ is not afraid of any trouble. Today the whole world needs all these fruits.

Earlier, Joint Director HRM Engg. Abhilasha Lal and Joysi proclaimed the glory of God through the devotional song ‘Yeshu Ko Hamne Jana Hai, Yeshu Ko Pahchana Hai’. Mr. Ashish Sharma of Doordarshan presented a bhajan ‘Yeshu Bada Dildar Hai’ followed by a devotional song presented by sister Snigdha. Abhishek, Neetu, Sushil performed a qawwali ‘Aaye jo prabhu sharan mein, paye chain woh apne mann mein’. Yashab Kumar performed a song ‘Meri Zindagi Teri Messiah’. Pro Vice-Chancellor (PMD) Prof. Sarvjit Herbert said that the basis of the God’s Word is the Lord Jesus Christ. He performed a devotional bhajan ‘ Yeshu Raja Aawat Hai, Fauj Swarg Ki Lavat Hai.

In the program, Pro Vice Chancellor (Administration) Prof. Dr. S.B. Lal, Pro Vice Chancellor (Academic) Prof. Dr. A K A Lawrence, Registrar Prof. Robin L. Prasad, Director Administration Mr. Vinod B. Lal, Director IPC Prof. Jonathan A. Lal etc. were present.
