Open table tennis tournament organized at SHUATS

PrayagrajAn open table tennis tournament was organized by Physical Education Department and Athletic Committee at Sam Higginbottom University of Agriculture, Technology And Sciences (SHUATS). Participants showed their performances in various categories of the tournament.Chairman Athletic Committee and Joint Registrar (Admin.) Er. C.J. Wasley said that the winners of Mixed Double were Dr. Stephan Das and Dimpi Vishwakarma. The winners of Male Double were Dr. Stephan Das and Prashant Saini. Tanu Gupta bagged the award of Female Single category while Prashant Saini was the winner of Male Single.
The chief guest of the award distribution ceremony was Arjun Awardee Mr. Abhinn Shyam Gupta who gave away the trophy to the winners. Er. C.J. Wasley welcomed the chief guest. On the occasion Prof. P.J. George, Mr. Rakesh Sahu, Dr. Devraj Badugu, Mr. Tanveer Ahmad, Mr. Achint Terrance along with staff of Physical Education Department were present.
