Prayagraj : 14th state level refresher course IMA CGP update 2023′ to be held on Sunday
The working committee of Allahabad Medical Association informed the press during a press conference that the 14th state level refresher course IMA CGP update 2023′ is being organised at AMA convention centre, Prayagraj on 7th May 2023 (Sunday). This year theme is Neurology-Hematology update 2023″.
The topics have been especially compiled keeping in mind the changing clinical trends in management and diagnosis of common elements. The goal of this conference is to keep our general practitioners updated with the latest development in medical sciences.
Inauguration of the conference will be held at 2:00 p.m. at AMACC. Chief guest of the occasion will be Dr. Y.R. Yadav, president Neurological Society of India, where as guest of honour will be Prof. S.P. Singh, Principal MLN Medical College, Prayagraj.
There will be two orations during this conference.
Dr. V.K. Agarwal oration on recent indications of endoscopy in CNS diseases will be given by Dr. Y.R. Yadav Prof. & Head Department of Neuro Surgery NSCB Medical College, Jabalpur.
Dr. K. S. Neogi Oration on management and evaluation of Tremor will be given by Dr. Achal Srivastava Professor Department of Neurology All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi.
Dr. Pawan Kumar Verma , associate professor department of Neuro surgery SGPGIMS Lucknow will deliver his lecture on Traumatic Brain injury : Current Guidelines and Recommendations.
Dr. Nimisha Verma, Associate Professor, Department Anaesthesia and Pain Management, IMS, BHU will speak on the topic Overview of chronic pain management.
Dr. Jitin Bajaj, Associate Professor Department of Neuro Surgery, NSCB Medical College, Jabalpur will deliver his lecture on the topic of Medical and Surgical Management of Epilepsy.
Dr. Rakesh Kumar Singh, Professor, Department of Neuro Surgery RML IMS Lucknow will speak on Pine deformity and its correction.
Dr. Deepak Kumar Singh, Professor and Head, Department of Neuro Surgery RML IMS Lucknow will deliver his lecture on recent advanced in stroke management.
Dr. K.K. Gupta ( MD, FICP, FAMS), professor and Ex. Head, Department of General Medicine IMS, BHU will deliver his lecture on Component Therapy and Management of Dengue.
Dr. Anoop Kumar Singh ( MCh.) Director and Head, Department of Neuro Surgery Lifeline Hospital and Research Centre Azamgarh will discuss about headache and their recent treatment.
Dr. S. P. Verma (MD, DM), additional professor Department of Clinical Hematology, KGMU Lucknow will speak on management of Anemia.
Conference will conclude with banquet for registered AMA delegates at 7:30 p.m.
