Pregnant woman, daughter dies after fire erupt in house, 2 arrested in this connection

Maharajganj: According to authorities, a 22-year-old pregnant mother and her two-year-old daughter died when a fire broke out at their home in Maharajganj, Uttar Pradesh. According to police, the woman’s husband and father-in-law were arrested in connection with the incident on Tuesday.Gita and her daughter Arpita were murdered in a fire at their home. The cause of the fire has yet to be determined, according to the police. According to Atish Kumar Singh, Additional Superintendent of Police, only the mother and her daughter were at home at the time of the event.According to the police, a case has been launched against Gita’s husband Sandeep, whom she married five years ago, her father-in-law, and others under sections 498 (dowry) and 304 B (dowry death) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC). According to them, Sandeep and his father have been detained and are being interrogated. According to them, the bodies have been transferred for post-mortem examination.
