Delhi, 16 April (H.S): Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra is all set to kick off her campaign in Tripura for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. On April 16, she will address an election rally and participate in a roadshow in Agartala.

This is a significant event for the I.N.D.I.A bloc, as it marks their first major campaign event in Tripura. However, party officials have mentioned the challenges they faced in organizing the event, mainly due to a shortage of vehicles to transport party supporters from remote areas.

Despite this hurdle, Congress Working Committee member and former minister Sudip Roy Barman expressed confidence that Priyanka Gandhi’s message would reach the people through a smaller gathering during the roadshow. He also commented on Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s planned election rally in Agartala on April 17, stating that the ruling BJP would have sufficient vehicles for their event.
