Recovery of 13.200 Kgs Ganja (valued-Rs-1, 32,000/-) with apprehension of one male CCL “Under operation NARCOS”

On 27.02.2023 a drive was conducted by Officers SIPF A.N Nayak, ASIPF D.K Pattnaik and staff Con 9563 D.R.Muduli, Con 134 A.K Das, Con 10727 N. Mallick & Con 206 A Behera of RPF/POST/Puri

from 10:00 hrs onwards over Puri Railway station area. During drive at about 10:40 hrs the raid party noticed one young male person carrying one blue colour hand bag looking heavy weight was entering to PF No-7 & 8. On suspicion the above party detained him on at entrance of PF No-07 Puri end and checked his bag and found 09 packets wrapped with brown colour plastics and smell of Ganja coming out from their bag. On being thoroughly interrogated he disclosed his name and address as Aman Kumar, aged-17 of At-Itimha, Ps-Nasirganja, Dist-Rohtash, Bihar and he accepted of carrying Ganja and proceeding to Dehri On Sone Station. Further, after observing all legal formalities in presence of a Gazetted officer Executive Magistrate Sri Ram Chandra Pattanaik and other witnesses, on 27.02.2023, the male CCL with contraband item Ganja were handed over to GRPS/Puri for further legal action.
