The 46th Foundation Day Celebrations function of Nazareth Hospital and the 4th Annual day celebrations of Divya Jyoti School were held on 13th of December
Under the aegis of Nazareth Hospital Society the 46th Foundation Day Celebrations function of Nazareth Hospital and the 4th Annual day celebrations of Divya Jyoti School were held on 13th of December 2021, from 5:00 p.m. onwards.

The Chief Guest of this function was the Hon’ble Mayor of Prayagraj Mrs. Abhilasha Gupta Nandi and the Guest of Honor was Rev. Sr. Shruti SRA, Provincial Superior – SRA Varanasi. This function was presided by Rev. Fr. Louis Mascarenhas, Administrator, Roman Catholic Diocese of Allahabad & Chairman of Nazareth Hospital Society and also the present Director of Nazareth Hospital.

Nazareth Hospital is widely known for its working ethos, charitable nature and providing Selfless, Holistic, Committed and Respectful Health Services to the needy people.

Divya Jyoti School is an Institution for the visually impaired Girl Child which is complete with boarding & lodging facilities and is an Education cum Rehabilitation and Enabling Center for such girl children who are adopted and always taken care off, individually. The Rev. Sisters In-charge deserve full credit of managing the day to day running of this school 24×7. All the needs and requirements of each child are taken care of as in a close knit family.

The function started with a Prayer dance. This was followed by the lamp lightning ceremony by the Chief Guest, Guest of Honor, Director Nazareth Hospital and other special invitees.
The welcome address for the Chief Guest and other Invitees was delivered by Rev. Fr. Louis Mascarenhas, Director, Nazareth Hospital. He also highlighted the achievements of Nazareth Hospital along with the progress of Divya Jyoti School despite the problems faced in the past nearly two years due to pandemic of Corona Virus – Covid-19.
The highlight of this function were the presentation of cultural items, song and also the little girls playing musical instruments reflected their capabilities and individual development. These performances by the little Girls of Divya Jyoti School were widely appreciated and emotionally applauded by the audience.
The staff along with nursing interns and students of Nazareth School of Nursing presented Dance items and also performed skits on relevant social themes.

The Chief Guest delivered her words of wisdom as guidance and encouragement & in her address exhorted the members of the Nazareth Family to achieve greater levels of Excellence. She appreciated that serving the suffering humanity is the biggest service that an Institution can render. She has a special word of acknowledgement and praise for the Nursing Services provided in Nazareth Hospital.
The programme concluded with a Vote of Thanks and rendition of our National Anthem. Special request was made to the all present to partake & enjoy the sumptuous Dinner laid out for them.
