The slow approach of the district administration has spoiled the atmosphere of the Durga “Uttam Kumar Banerjee

Prayagraj: The Allahabad Durga Puja Committee has strongly criticized the slow attitude of the District Administration in the matter of organizing and allowing Durga Puja, when there are only a few days left to organize the Durga Puja, but so far no permission letter has been issued from the administration. Said the Secretary to the Committee Mr. Uttam Kumar Banerjee.

The Chief Advisor of the committee, Shri PK Rai, has expressed his anger that the Chief Secretary of the State Government had issued the SOP on the October 9th, but the district administration deliberately organized the work slowly to reduce the scale of the puja event in any way.

The slow pace with which the district administration is engaged in issuing the permission letter for the conduct of the puja, it seems that the organizers will be able to get the permission letter till Diwali. Said the Durga Puja committee members.

The Divisional Secretary of Allahabad Durga Puja Committee has instructed the organizers to immediately hand over the approved format issued by the district administration to the concerned ACM along with an Affidavit.
