Thought is mirror of a person’s personality: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath

Lucknow, 27 February Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that a person’s thought is the mirror of his personality. Good thinking makes a person great while bad causes his downfall. While a person of positive thinking can get the respect of others by doing public welfare, negative thinking becomes a reason for the chaos in society, he said.This analysis can be found in our religious texts as well, the CM said.

The Chief Minister was speaking at the inauguration programme of the renovated premises of Shri Koneshwar Mahadev Temple situated at Chowk here on Thursday. The Chief Minister said that this temple finds a mention in the Puranas. It also has a connection with Laxman and therefore the importance of this temple is from Treta Yug. The Chief Minister congratulated Gopal Ji Tandon and his entire team for giving a grand and new design to our mythological tradition.

The Chief Minister said that along with the construction of the temple, its cleanliness is also necessary. “It has been taken care of at this temple, and there should be a similar arrangement at other religious places,” he said. Arrangements have also been made for proper disposal and processing of worship material including flowers. Following this system, urban life can be improved, the CM said.

Faith does not care about terrorism

The CM said that faith does not care about terrorism. “People go on Amarnath Yatra irrespective of terror attacks. During ‘savan’, when lakhs of Shiva devotees come out chanting ‘Bam-Bam’, terrorism disappears. He said that religion is nothing but duty, which is for the interest of the country and society. If the country remains safe and prosperous then we also feel protected, he said.

Madhya Pradesh Governor Lalji Tandon, BJP State President Swatantradev Singh, Minister Gopal Ji Tandon and others were present in the programme.
