Chief Minister said – BJP workers should go door-to-door to inform people about the Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Package and make them aware

The state government has taken many measures, the relief package is being given, every citizen should be made aware of it
-Provide information about people coming from other states to the local administration and CM helpline*
-Each booth president should provide food to 10 poor people of his area every day*
Lucknow, 29 March. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Sunday directly interacted with 1.63 lakh BJP workers of the state through video conferencing. The Chief Minister said that all the BJP workers should make the public aware of the Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Package while using social media platform. Rs 1.70 lakh crore has been released through this package. The Chief Minister called upon the workers to provide more and more essential facilities to the people in view of Covid-19 epidemic.
The Chief Minister, while interacting with all the workers, said that under the Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Package, every health worker fighting ‘Covid-19’ will be provided an insurance cover of Rs 50 lakh under the insurance scheme. 80 crore poor will get 5 kg wheat or rice and 1 kg pulses of their choice every month for free for the next three months. 20 crore women Jan Dhan account holders will get Rs 500 every month for the next three months. Under MNREGA, wages have been increased from Rs 182 to Rs 202 per day, from which 13.62 crore families will be benefited. A grace amount of Rs 1,000 will be given to 3 crore poor senior citizens, poor widows and poor disabled people.
The government will transfer Rs 2,000 to the farmers’ account in the first week of April under the current ‘PM Kisan Yojana’, benefiting 8.7 crore farmers. The Central Government has ordered the State Governments to use the ‘ Welfare Fund for Building and Construction Workers’ to provide relief to construction workers. 8 crore poor families will be provided with gas cylinders for the next three months.

While interacting with the BJP workers, the Chief Minister said that the public should also be made aware of the relief package announced by the state government for daily wage labourers. Under this, 1.65 crore labourers are being given one-month free ration, and 35 lakh labourers are being given a maintenance allowance of Rs 1000 per month.
He said that 20.37 lakh workers have been registered with the Labour Department in the state. For their maintenance, Rs. 1,000 is being sent to their account through DBT. The government is giving Rs. 1,000 to street vendors, rickshaw pullers, those who depend on weekly markets, and others for their maintenance with immediate effect. 
Workers of the rural and urban areas of the state, especially labourers or petty vendors, are being provided foodgrains. In the interest of the affected workers and other staff working in the private sector, the owners and employers of the closed units were directed to pay regular wages and paid leave to their workers.
MGNREGA workers are being paid wages immediately. The instructions were given to provide one-month free ration to about 1 crore 65 lakh 31 thousand construction workers and daily labourers registered in Antyodaya Yojana, MNREGA and Labour Department. These families will get 20 kg of wheat, 15 kg rice free. The amount of quarterly pension to 83.83 lakh beneficiaries enrolled under old age pension, PwDs pension and destitute widow pension schemes implemented in the state are now being given as two-month advanced pension.
