Lucknow, 26 March. The Uttar Pradesh government under the leadership of the Hon’ble Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has prepared a complete action plan to win the war against Coronavirus. For this, 12 committees of top officials have been formed.
The Chief Minister’s Office itself will oversee the work of all the committees through IGRS, CM Helpline and coordinate with them. All the committees will monitor the entire situation 24 hours a day. Along with this, an order has been issued to amend the guideline of MLA fund for testing, screening and other facilities of Covid-19.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said these things on Thursday last. The Chief Minister said that the government is in touch with 60 thousand gram panchayats of the state through the Chief Minister Helpline. We are tracking every suspect and isolating them according to the need and monitoring them. Work is being done on war footing to ensure that there is no shortage of essential commodities for everyday needs. He said that our priority is the section of society that earns and eats daily and also those who get salary as per the working day. Workers, street vendors, hawkers and rickshaw pullers, etc. come under the earning section of those who work and earn every day. Rs one thousand each is being sent to their account. Employers have been instructed not to cut anyone’s salary, said the CM.
CM Yogi has instructed all the district magistrates to provide food grains along with Rs one thousand to those who are deprived of this benefit till now. The police and administration together should make the lockdown effective in the larger interest of the people. Also, they have to be very strict against black marketing and hoarding. Instructing strict action against the black marketeers, the Chief Minister said that if necessary, action should be taken against them under NSA. During this time, complete arrangements for clean water, sanitation and sanitization will be ensured from the city to the village and government institutions especially police stations, jails, police lines and police training centers. A separate committee has been formed to monitor health services. So far, more than 11 thousand isolation beds have been prepared. The corona testing facility is being continuously extended.
The Chief Minister has welcomed the people of the state for cooperating in the lockdown. He has thanked all the employees associated with services including cleanliness, health and the police who are performing better in this hour of crisis. The government has issued an order to amend the guideline of MLA fund for testing, screening and other facilities of Covid-19. The Principal Secretary Rural Development has sent the order to the DMs of all the districts. The amount of money of MLA funds will be made available to the Medical and Health Department at the district level itself. In view of Coronavirus infection, 30,000 people are being monitored in the state.
Care for farmers and animals too
The Chief Minister has said that there should be no shortage of fodder for animals, milk supply should be maintained. The government is also ensuring that every household gets milk and commodities for daily needs. The Chief Minister said that potato, mustard, peas and gram crops of farmers are ready. Wheat is also getting ready. The officers have been instructed to make proper arrangements for their purchase and storage as well. There will be no shortage of funds in this war against coranavirus.
Prime Minister’s model will set the example for the world
The Chief Minister said that in this battle against Coronavirus, the package announced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi while keeping the poor in focus will set an example for the whole world in the future. He appealed to the public to follow the lockdown. With the support of public, we will definitely win this battle, he added.
The CM said that the current situation created due to Corona will have a bad effect on the state’s economy. In view of the damage caused by hailstorm and lockdown, a committee has been formed under the chairmanship of Additional Chief Secretary Finance to strengthen the economy. Principal Secretary Agriculture and Principal Secretary Food are included in this. This committee will prepare a plan for financial support. Apart from this, it will also assess the loss of wheat and potato crops. Once the situation becomes normal, a strategy will be prepared regarding how to compensate the loss caused by this.
Out of 42 Corona patients in the state, 11 people have recovered
Addressing the press conference at Lok Bhawan, Chief Secretary Home and Information Awanish K Awasthi said that 11 out of 42 Corona patients in the state have been cured and they have also been discharged. Work has started in 8 testing labs in the state. More than one lakh food packets have been prepared. The Chief Minister instructed to ensure door-to-door delivery of 15 lakh litres of milk from 20,000 vehicles.
Public aids system is being implemented on every government vehicle in the state. Arrangements for lodging and food are being made in the respective districts for the workers and employees who are coming from other states. The Chief Minister has instructed DMs and police officials especially of border districts to make proper arrangements of lodging and food for people.
Police registered 2,802 FIRs against violation of Section 188
Police have registered 2,802 FIRs against violation of Section 188. Total of 8,649 challans has been issued. So far, 2.86 lakh vehicles have been checked. 18,570 mobile vans and carts have been provided in the state for the door to door transportation of essential commodities. Through the Chief Minister Helpline 1076, 30,125 gram pradhans have been contacted on phone.
The Chief Minister instructed the District Magistrate and Police officials of all the districts of the state to jointly conduct patrolling in their respective districts. There should be no shortage of food and other essential things at Rain Baseras and other shelters. Community kitchens have started in Agra, Varanasi and Lucknow. Also, any organization that wants to start a community kitchen can apply to the District Magistrate of their district.
