Announcement on promotion of ‘CM Apprentice Protsahan’ and young entrepreneur in the budget
Every district to have youth hub, target to make one lakh youth self-reliant every year
18 February, Lucknow The government will make youth entrepreneurs. For this, two schemes have been launched in the budget, namely, ‘Mukhyamantri Apprentice Protsahan’ and ‘Youth Entrepreneurship Development’. For implementation of the Apprentice Protsahan Yojana, the government has made a provision of Rs 100 crore in the budget and Rs 50 crore for Youth Entrepreneurship Development.
Under the first scheme, the government will impart training to the youth in small, micro and medium units of the state. During this time an allowance of Rs 2500 will also be given to them. Through this scheme, the government aims to make the youth self-reliant by increasing their efficiency in the genre of their choice.

The government has announced the launch of the Youth Entrepreneurship Development Scheme with the intention that trained youth should become self-reliant by establishing their own enterprise and also provide employment to others at the local level. For this, youth hubs will be established in every district. Through them, the aspiring youth will be helped to carry out the project right from its conceptualisation to its operation from year to year. Under various employment schemes, Rs 1200 crore is already available with the government for this. It aims to make one lakh youth self-reliant every year.
It may be noted that the first budget of the Yogi government was dedicated to farmers, the second budget was focused on industrial development, while the third budget focused on women empowerment. At the same time, in the fourth budget of this time, the government has kept the youth at the center.
