Wedding quarrel led to death of man in UP

Shahjahanpur: A man was reportedly slain after an altercation at a wedding ceremony here, authorities said on Friday. Rajesh Kumar (40) was discovered dead in the morning in the Dakhnaou village, which is part of the Allahaganj police station area, according to Superintendent Ashok Kumar Meena. He stated that the body, which was injured in the head, had been submitted for a postmortem.

According to police, Kumar attended a marriage celebration on Thursday night and reportedly got into an altercation with the attendees. He was related to the bride.

“The dead had a disagreement with several people on the groom’s side over taking photos. Other visitors present helped to remedy the issue. Our investigators are investigating whether the murder is related to the argument that night,” SP Meena said.
