Woman forced by husband to roam in the village, Woman Commission asks for a report

Chandigarh, February 6 (H.S.): Punjab State Women Commission has today sought the report from Punjab Bureau of Investigation and SSP Moga a case that took place four days back in Jhandeyana in which a police personal allegedly cut her wife’s hair and roamed her around on village road.

Disclosing this here today, Chairperson of Punjab State Women Commission Manisha Gulati said that the matter had come to her notice through media reports. Reiterating her commitment to safeguards the interests of women, she exhorted that the Commission would not tolerate these type of incidents at any cost.
