Yoga is effective for increasing positive energy
Lecture on Yoga organized in Open University.

According to the instructions of the Governor’s Secretariat, under the direction of the Vice-Chancellor of the University, Professor Seema Singh, in a series of various programs related to Yoga before International Yoga Day, Health Sciences on Monday under the Yoga Pakhwada program being celebrated before International Yoga Day in Uttar Pradesh Rajarshi Tandon Open University. Under the aegis of Vidya branch, a lecture was organized on the topic “Yoga is a boon in the flow of positive energy”.
Keynote speaker Dr. Vidya Niwas Pandey, Patanjali Yogpeeth said that positive energy can be increased in life by following the path of yoga. Yoga removes negativity and we become free from the vices of work, anger, attachment, country etc. in our life and start moving towards God. We can reduce the evils spreading in the society only by being positive.
He said that violence, anger, fighting etc. spreading in the society can be stopped only through yoga. Yoga has so much power that the wars between different nations can be stopped. With the formula of Ashtangik Yoga, positive energy can be increased in the Heads of State leading them and mutual friendship can be increased by removing the feeling of bitterness among them.
Dr. Pandey said that Yoga is a discipline which we imbibe on ourselves. Only by adopting this discipline, we can achieve success in life and also lead the society towards positivity.
Presiding over the programme, Director in-charge Health Sciences Professor S Kumar said that Yoga has been considered as a major component of life. He urged that all people must include yoga in their daily routine. So that he can stay fit mentally and physically.
The lecture was conducted by Dr. Meera Pal and the vote of thanks was done by Mr. Anurag Shukla. Chief speaker Dr. Pandey presented the real Gita as a gift to Professor S. Kumar and Dr. Meera Pal, who were presiding over the program. The next lecture under Yoga Pakhwada will be organized on 14th June.
