2 arrested for rape and posting obscene images online in UP They photographed the crime and shared it on social media

Ballia, 10 Feb : According to authorities, two males were arrested on Friday for allegedly raping a lady and posting images of the incident on social media platforms. The incident was reported in the vicinity of the Sikandarpur police station. “One Manjesh Pal and Rahul Rajbhar were detained in connection with the rape of a 19-year-old woman and the uploading of her dirty images online,” said Station House Officer (SHO) Dinesh Pathak.According to the cops Manjesh Pal raped the woman on Wednesday, while Rahul Rajbhar photographed the crime and shared it on social media. On Thursday, a FIR was filed in connection with the matter under provisions of the IPC and the IT Act. According to the SHO, the defendants were apprehended from their residence on Friday.
