DM Pratapgarh resolves 264 cases pending for 5 years in a day

Pratapgarh. District Magistrate Sanjeev Ranjan reviewed the cases more than 05 years old (Section-34) pending in the courts of Tehsildars and Naib Tehsildars. Tehsildar and Naib Tehsildar of Tehsil Patti were present in the camp office. About 18 days ago, 304 cases in the court of Tehsildar Patti, 250 in the court of Tehsildar Judicial, 14 in Naib Tehsildar Mangaraura, 24 in Naib Tehsildar Patti and 57 in the court of Naib Tehsildar Aspur Devsara were pending for more than 5 years. Following strict instructions given by the District Magistrate for disposal of the cases, the officers settled 264 cases by continuously sitting in the court and listening to the litigants. Due to which, at present the number of cases pending for more than 05 years in Tehsil Patti has come down to 385. The District Magistrate also checked all the pending files one by one.
