Handed over of recovered mobile Phone by RPF Staff of Puri on the night of 21.08.2021, valued Rs-20000/-

On the night of 20.08.2021, while on duty Officer & Staff of Puri [SI Pandav Nayak & others] were engaged for conducting drive against undesirable elements in Station area to prevent criminal activities, noticed 01 Mobile Phone [Model- Appo A1, valued about- Rs-20000/-] was kept on the bench of Platform No. 07 in unclaimed condition. As at that time no any trains were available from Puri Railway Station, so RPF Staff brought the recovered mobile Phone to RPF Post Puri for further hand over to it’s owner. At about-10.30 PM a Phone call received in that recovered mobile number and the caller informed his identity as Sarar Bosa, At-House No.01, PS-Baridih [Jamshedpur], Dist- East Singhbhum, Jharkhand. Further, he stated that he is the owner of the said mobile and on the night of 20.08.2021, he came at Puri Railway Station and boarded in the train No. 08477 [Utkal Express] vide PNR No. 683276568394 from Puri to TATA, Coach No. S-10 Seat No. 24, but unfortunately the above mobile was left behind on the bench on PF No.07 of Puri Railway Station. Further he requested that to keep his mobile Phone at RPF Post as the Hotel Staff, where he was stayed in Puri is going to take mobile Phone. Finally at about-11.45 PM hrs one Sibaji Nayak [Hotel Staff] attended RPF Post, Puri and the recovered mobile due Phone handed over to him with due verification and proper acknowledgement for further send to concerns person through Courier. After received the same owner of the mobile Phone appreciated the quick and friendly working system of RPF Staff of Puri.
