Fatehpur. Despite the strict instructions of the government, the game of illegal mining and illegal transportation continues unabated in the mines of the district. To stop illegal mining, the government may have installed CCTV cameras in 360 degrees in the mines, but the mining mafia finds some way or the other. On Tuesday, a video of Adhaval Composite Forest Morang mine went viral on social media in which the leaseholder is getting illegal mining done by installing half a dozen heavy machines in the middle of the river! Taking cognizance of the matter, the DM has given instructions for strict action. Let us tell you that in the case of illegal mining by blocking the water stream in the Yamuna river, many big actions have already been taken in the district, in which many officers including Commissioner, DM, SP, Mineral Officer, CO have been suspended, despite this the mineral department is not serious about illegal mining. Whereas in the month of April this year, the then DM of the district C Indumati herself went to Adhaval Composite One Morang mine and took big action. After which an FIR was registered against the leaseholder Alok Mishra, while a fine of 53 lakh and 12 lakh was also imposed on the mine, while a fine of 15 lakh has also been imposed on the leaseholder in the case of disturbing the water stream thrice. Despite this, the limits of anarchy were crossed in Adhaval Composite One (Adhaval 9). After June, mining work remained closed for three months in the rainy season. In the month of October, this controversial mine was started by Mineral Officer Saurabh Gupta without depositing the entire dues.

After which, after the reprimand of an officer, the Mineral Officer deposited the entire fine, where illegal mining continues unabated as soon as the mine started! A GPS video of which is going viral on social media in which it is seen that the lease holder is seen moving from Adhawal to the village of Baragaon on the other side of the Yamuna river on the border of Banda and doing illegal mining! However, it will be known only after measurement how much and where illegal mining has been done. But in the GPS video, many heavy machines are seen doing illegal mining from the water stream. Earlier, illegal mining was found three times in this mine outside the area, but despite illegal mining being found repeatedly in this mine, no action has been taken to cancel the lease yet, due to which the spirits of the mine operator are high. With the grace of the Mineral Department, he is continuously doing illegal mining outside the lease area, obstructing the water stream! In this regard, District Magistrate Ravindra Singh said that a team will be formed and raids will be conducted, GPS video will be included in the investigation. Strict action will be taken against illegal mining and transportation.
