In acquisition of disproportionate assets by Sri Prasanta Kumar Rout raids conducted in different locations

Today i.e. on 23.06.2023, on the allegation of acquisition of disproportionate assets by Sri Prasanta Kumar Rout , Addl. Sub Collector, Nawarangpur, Dist-Nawarangpur, simultaneous house searches are being conducted by Odisha Vigilance on the strength of search warrant issued by Special Judge, Vigilance, Sundargarh, at 9 locations.

Places of search:
(1) The double storied residential house of S.O. located at HIG-115, Kanan Vihar, Bhubaneswar.

(2) The residential house of S.O. located at Nawarangpur, Dist- Nawarangpur.

(3) The office chamber of S. O. located at Nawarangpur, Dist-Nawarangpur.

(4) The parental house of S.O. located at Village-Bahudarada, PS-Bhadrak, Dist-Bhadrak.

This apart, searches are being conducted at 5 other locations of acquaintances of Sri Rout.

9 teams of Odisha Vigilance consisting of 02 Addl. SP, 07 DSsP, 08 Inspectors and other staff are engaged in searches.
