Manav Mukti Diwas celebrated at Yeshu Darbar Church

Prayagraj: On the birth of Lord Jesus Christ the Manav Mukti Diwas celebrated at Yeshu Darbar Church in which prayer, devotional song etc were performed. Due to Corona epidemic the program was organized in a simplistic manner following the Covid-19 guidelines. The vice president of Yeshu Darbar Church Dr. Sudha Lal gave Christmas greetings to all.

Bishop of Yeshu Darbar Church, Most Rev. Prof. Rajendra B. Lal, greeted the Christmas congregation, calling Christmas the Manav Mukti Diwas, and said that God gave His only son to the world which He loved so much. We humans must humbly acknowledge that unlimited love of God and love each other, and always be ready to help others. Bishop Prof. Lal explained how, after the birth of Lord Jesus in human form, we rejoice and join prayer meetings all over the world, celebrating the birth of Jesus as Christmas.

He further emphasized the importance of Christmas as the birth of a new creation where sin, hatred, lies and such other evils cannot exist. He said that Jesus, the Saviour of mankind, did not come to the earth for any caste-based religion but for the salvation of the entire world. Sharing the word of the holy Bible, he said that the Lord Jesus Christ is the only way towards truth and life.

Hence, we should follow the parh shown by Jesus and accept wholeheartedly the teachings of Christ that will give us a society free from all sins. Bishop Lal appealed to all present to maintain social distancing, wear masks and save themselves as well as others from the terrible pandemic. Expressing faith in the blessing of the Lord Jesus Christ, Bishop Lal assured everyone that soon we would be out of this danger since the Lord Almighty always saves His people from any harm.Earlier in the programme, Pro Vice-Chancellor (PMD) Prof. Rev. Sarvjeet Herbert performed a devotional bhajan ‘Yeshu Raja Aawat Hai’ followed by a song ‘Khuda Ke Pyar Ki Nishani Jami Par Utar Aayi’ by Ms. Mercy Masih. Also, devotional songs like Aisa Pyara Masiha Hamara, Masiha Mera Duniya Me Aaya etc performed during the programme.

Due to Covid-19, the program was broadcast through social media YouTube in which people participated through online. On this occasion, Pro VC (Administration) Prof. S.B. Lal, Pro VC (AA&QA) Prof. A.K.A. Lawrence, Registrar Prof. Robin L. Prasad, Director Administration Mr. Vinod B. Lal, Director IPC Prof. Jonathan A. Lal, Rev. David Phillips etc. were present.
