Education Mafias in Pratapgarh exploiting parents

Pratapgarh. From the time of admission till the end of the year, the school operators severely exploit the parents financially. There is no to question them. The arbitrariness of private schools and colleges in the district is at its peak. At the time of admission collections are made from parents as well as throughout the year in the name of annual functions, cultural programs, competitions etc. If complaints are raised there is no one to address them. The caucus of education mafia is so strong that no one can do anything against them. The parents are becoming victims of their financial exploitation, on a regular basis. Books are changed deliberately every year. Books of mere thirty pages are being sold for Rs 300 or more. Apart from the shops mentioned by the schools, the books of the respective school cannot be found in any other shop. Same is the situation with dress also. Children’s dresses made of simple cloth are available for more than a thousand rupees. Thus way school operators are also exploiting parents financially through shops. Officials and government ministers are aware of the open looting of education mafias. Many politicians have their own schools and colleges.

Undisclosed assets of school operators increasing every year but there is no investigation-

Whether a school child becomes rich after studying or not, the wealth of the school operators is increasing exponentially every year. Whereas the fee paying parents are giving a major part of their hard earned earnings to the education mafia in the name of children’s education are becoming poorer and are losing their wealth . No matter how much fee is charged throughout the year, no one is going to say anything. This is the reason that after three years of opening one school, they open chain of such branches. The authorities are numb as there is neither any raid nor any investigation in this business.

Teachers also exploited-

The school operators may be charging huge sums of money from the parents of the children. But to build the future of those children, a meagre amount of money is given as salary to the teachers who teach the students. The teacher cannot sustain his family with the salary he or she is given. On top of that, the teacher has to do overtime duty and are at the mercy of the school director.

Time is spent in checking and giving homework in schools.

In schools, teachers spend their time checking children’s homework and giving homework for the next day. The work of teaching children is done by their parents or tutors only. Overall, a parent with a normal income is losing his entire income in school fees, tutor fees and in children’s grooming.

Parents are cursing after getting admission in school-

Admissions are going on in schools these days. After getting their children admitted by paying huge amount, parents are seen cursing the school administrators while leaving the school. In the name of good education, parents of their children are forced to endure and suffer .
