Sambhal: According to authorities, two criminals carrying bounty on their head and a cop were hurt in an encounter in the Bania Dher district of Uttar Pradesh on Tuesday. Superintendent of Police Chakresh Mishra claimed Bilal and Gulam opened fire after a police squad encircled them, and a cop named Vivek Yadav was also injured in the cross-firing. Both had received a Rs 25,000 reward from the Uttar Pradesh Police. While the two were detained, three others who were with them managed to leave the scene, they said. Police found a calf, cattle slaughter weapons, and two unlawful things from the accused. They said that an investigation is underway.
