Ujjwal urges Petroleum Minister to start work of refinery plant at Lohagra

The newly elected Member of Parliament from Allahabad constituency Ujjwal Raman Singh today met with Hon’ble Petroleum Minister of India Sri Hardeep Singh Puri and has urged him to start the work of refinery plant at Lohagra , Shankargarh of the Trans Yamuna region of Allahabad.

Almost three decades back land was acquired from the farmers on the pretext of starting a refinery plant at Shankargarh, however, even after so many years nothing concrete has come up yet.

Further, Ujjwal Raman had also raised the requisition in the Lok Sabha earlier and the Hon’ble speaker Sri Om Birla has taken cognizance of it and assured that the request has been officially sent to the concerned Minister for perusal.
