India will be the world’s largest economy by 2040 Lucknow: Union Minister Hardeep Singh Puri said on Sunday that since Yogi Adityanath took over as chief minister of Uttar Pradesh, the execution of national programmes has increased tremendously.

Addressing a session on “reimagining cities as growth centres for modern Uttar Pradesh” at the Global Investors Summit here, Union Housing and Urban Development Minister stated that India will overtake the United States as the world’s largest economy by 2040.”Scheme development and execution in Uttar Pradesh have advanced dramatically since Yogi Adityanath took over as state chief minister in 2017,” Puri added. “I return to the city every second or third month. Based on our present initiatives, we will rank among the top three in the globe over the next few months,” he said. A K Sharma, the state’s Urban Development Minister, remarked during the session, “When I was chosen as minister, I recognised that cleanliness was important to a city’s progress.

As a result, I initiated an effort to clean up the city.” Several individuals used to complain to him about rubbish mounds on the streets of residential areas, but the situation has entirely altered now, he added.
