Death of teenage girl under suspicious circumstances, chaos

Pratapgarh, Lalganj. The body of a 16-year-old girl from Brahmachari Mothin village of Kotwali area was found hanging from the ceiling hinges inside the house on Thursday afternoon. When the girl’s body was seen hanging, there was an uproar among the family members. Police reached the spot after getting information about the incident. After investigation, the police took the body into custody and sent it for post-mortem. Various types of things are being said regarding the incident. Police investigation has revealed that the girl committed suicide due to a love affair. However, the family members are refusing to say anything about this. No suicide note was found in the house. Inspector in-charge Avan Kumar Dixit said that the body has been sent for post-mortem. Prima facie investigation suggests suicide. The reason behind this is said to be a love affair. However, the family members have not yet filed any complaint.
