First day of UPMASCICON concludes
Today, on June 24, 2023, the first day of the first UPMASCICON (Association of Surgeons India Central U.P. Chapter Conference) was held at Allahabad Medical Association Convention Center Prayagraj.
The programme was inaugurated by Chief Guest Dr. Sanjay Jain (President ASI), Special Guest Dr. G. Siddesh (Former President ASI), Chief Patron Dr. S.P. Singh (Principal Moti Lal Nehru Medical College, Prayagraj), Dr. Probal Niyogi (Vice President ASI) by Kar Kamlo to be done. During the inauguration Dr. Pratap Varuti (Secretary ASI), Dr. Ashok Agarwal, Dr. VK Pandey, Dr. Shabi Ahmed, Dr. Vaibhav Srivastava, Dr. Mohit Jain, Dr. AA Sonkar, Dr. Sanjay Singh, Dr. Kamal Singh, Dr. Santosh Singh, Dr. Abhinav Agarwal etc. be present.
On the first day of the seminar, lectures on major diseases were presented by eminent doctors of the country. In which Dr. Mumtaz Ansari, former Head of Department of Surgery, Dr. Mumtaz Ansari, operated on Gastritis (GERD) through binocular method, Dr. Pratap Varuti, who came from Kolhapur Maharashtra, performed GIST (Stomach and colon cancer) operation, Dr. Puneet Srivastava (Prof. Department of Surgery) performed bile duct surgery. Management of injuries, Dr. Mallika Tiwari (Prof. Dept. of Surgery) Whipple operation for pancreatic cancer, Dr. Rajneesh Singh (SGPGI Lucknow), Dr. Juhi Singhal (Agra) for stomach cancer treatment and operation Regarding different types of hernia operation by binocular method, Dr. Nutan Jain (Muzaffar Nagar), Dr. Rajeev Sinha (Maharani Laxmibai Medical College Jhosi), Dr. K.N. Srivastava (BLK Hospital, Delhi), Dr. Amit Srivastava (Agra) and Sadak Dr. N.N. Gopal (Neurosurgeon Moti Lal Nehru Medical College, Prayagraj), Dr. Samir Mishra (Maharani Laxmibai Medical College, Jhansi), Dr. Rachna Gupta (Rewa), Dr. Sudhir Kumar (Maharani Laxmibai Medical College) for the treatment of burns College Jhosi), delivered the lecture. Dr. Kushal Mittal (Mumbai), Dr. Bhawar Lal Yadav (Jaipur), Dr. Ramakant (Lucknow), Dr. Shabi Ahmed (Head of the Department of Surgery, Moti Lal Nehru Medical College, Prayagraj) discussed the treatment and operation of Anal Fistula by experts. .
In the programme, junior doctors from medical colleges of different states presented their research papers, research posters, participated in ward round, quiz competition and got training of Indolab.
