Google technological aid to the needy during times of coronavirus pandemic

Google has brought out an updated version of the Google Map, to aid people who are now out of money and are unable to take care of their own fooding and basic necessity.

Google Maps will now show Public Food Shelter and Public Night Stay Shelter points. In these 21 days of lockdown, labours are migrating back to their home towns or villages by walking on foot. In this difficult time, Google has come forward to work with the Central Government of India to provide several relief and easy information to the poor. This version of Google Map will be available for 30 states across the country. A large part of the Indian community speaks Hindi so the Hindi version of this app will be available soon and also in local languages of different states. To make it helpful, Google has provided it on Google Search and Google Search Assistant also which will be available in android and kaios phones like Jio phone. The Government and Google are working together on this.
The Centre has informed about the new version of Google Map through the mygov platform and confirming this Google has also released a new press statement. Mr Ghosh, senior program manager, Google India has released the press statement in public. In the week of March, Aam Aadmi Party has announced custom map to show the location of Human Relief Centre to help the poor whose lunch and dinner timing has announced 12-3 PM and 6-9 PM.
