Mulayam Singh Passes Away: Former Chief Minister breathed his last at Gurugram’s Medanta Hospital this morning

SP Patron Mulayam Singh Yadav died at 8:16 am in the morning. He had been ill for the past several days. He was undergoing treatment at Medanta Hospital in Gurugram (Haryana), at the last moment he was on a ventilator where he breathed his last. He was 82 years old. There was a steady deterioration in his condition since last Sunday.
Mulayam Singh Yadav was a skilled wrestler and a wonderful teacher and played a long political inning in politics. He became the Chief Minister of the state of Uttar Pradesh thrice and he was also the Defense Minister at the Centre.
Mulayam Singh was admitted to Medanta Hospital on 22 August, he was kept in ICU on 1 October due to his rapid deterioration in health. During treatment, his family and eldest son former Chief Minister Aklish Yadav were also present in the hospital.
According to sources, preparations are being made to bring his body from Delhi to Lucknow, from there it will be taken to Etawah for final rites.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath expressed grief over the death of Mulayam Singh Yadav. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath spoke to Mulayam Singh’s son former Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav and his brother Ram Gopal Yadav over the phone and expressed condolences.

CM Yogi said that the death of former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Samajwadi Party founder Mulayam Singh Yadav is very sad. With his death, the main pillar of socialism and the struggling era has come to an end. CM Yogi said I wish peace to the departed soul from God and my condolences to the bereaved family members and supporters.
The Uttar Pradesh government has announced three days of state mourning on the death of Mulayam Singh Yadav. Mulayam Singh’s last rites will be performed with full state honors.
