NAZARETH Celebrates Independence Day – 2022

75th Year of Independence “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav”, was celebrated with great vigour, pomp and colorful presentation of the program at Nazareth Hospital. The Chief Guest for the occasion was Hon’ble Mr. Justice Gautam Chowdhary of the Allahabad High Court. The program began with a soul-stirring Prayer Song by the Hospital Choir.

The welcome address to the Chief Guest was delivered by Rev. Fr. Louis Mascarenhas, Director Nazareth Hospital. Dr. Ashok Agarwal, MS. Chief Medical Superintendent gave a floral welcome to the Chief Guest.
This was followed by hoisting of the National Flag by the Chief Guest and subsequent rendition of the National Anthem.

The Chief Guest addressed the audience of Hospital Doctors, Rev. Sisters, Staff and Students of Nazareth School of Nursing. In his address he stressed the importance of the Independence Day and emphatically urged everyone to take pride and contribute in Nation building in their own small ways and by performing their duties diligently. In the context of 75th Year of Independence Day of India celebrated nationally as “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav”, he also emphasized that the contributions of National freedom fighters whose contribution cannot be forgotten
A Hospital memento was presented to the Hon’ble Chief Guest by Rev. Fr. Louis Mascarenhas, Director. This was followed by a beautiful patriotic song rendered by the Hospital Choir.

A formal Vote of Thanks to the Chief Guest and the assembled gathering was delivered by Dr. Dhawal Kirti Tiwari, MS.
This was followed by refreshments for the guests.
